This week in the media there has been a spotlight on mental health and the real dangers that it can present when people feel they have nowhere to turn. Both Roman Kemp’s ‘Our Silent Emergency’ and the documentary on Caroline Flack have illustrated how hard it can be to recognise if someone is struggling.
These programs have highlighted the importance of reaching out to others around us if we are struggling. But sometimes reaching out to those closest to us can be the hardest thing to do. There are agencies out there who can help – anonymously, without judgement, to support you:
